On Friday, I heard an interview on NPR with Don Rickles from 2008 where he talked about his longtime friendship with Bob Newhart. At the end of the interview, the reporter’s producer asked if he would “Insult” her. His response was that he “Enjoyed” the “Worst time he ever had” on her show. She chuckled. His nickname was “Mr. Warmth” and it’s truly great that he showed that to you and your assistant.
